Sienna Niza

Date of Birth: September 12, 2025

Sex: Female

Energy levels: Medium/High

Good with:

  • Cats: Unknown, with slow intros I may adjust to another kitty
  • Dogs: Unknown, with slow intros I may adjust to a cat-friendly dog
  • Kids: Older kids are great, little toddlers may be overwhelming

Rescue Story: I was surrendered to CCE after my owner’s in-laws would not allow her to keep me and the need was immediate. I am now looking for my forever home. Come and visit me at Pet Valu Ellerslie!

About Me: Hi, I’m Sienna!

I’m 7 months old, which means I’ve mastered the art of being equal parts playful chaos and professional cuddle bug. I have a lot to say (seriously—I’m quite the conversationalist), so if you like a chatty little companion, we’ll get along perfectly.

My absolute favorite things in life? Fishy wet food (the smellier the better, obviously), catnip-filled toys that I can bunny-kick into oblivion, and curling up right next to you when I’m ready to recharge. I’ve got that moderate-to-high kitten energy, so I’ll zoom, pounce, and entertain you—but I also really value my chill time. Balance is everything.

Fun fact: when I get really happy, I drool a little. I know, I know—adorable.

I’m a clean and classy girl—no mess, no nonsense, just good habits and good vibes. I’ll happily snack on kibble too, but my heart belongs to wet food.

I’m still young and figuring out the world, so I’m not totally sure how I feel about other animals yet—but with the right introductions, I might adapt just fine.

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, slightly chatty best friend who will play hard and cuddle harder… I might be your girl.

Vetting:  I am spayed, dewormed, microchipped and partially vaccinated

Toffee Crystallina

Date of Birth: March 24, 2024

Sex: Male

Energy levels: Medium

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes, I’m good with other cats given the proper introduction
  • Dogs: Unknown, I probably would not enjoy being around a dog as I frighten easily
  • Kids: Yes, I am good with older, respectful kids

Rescue Story: I was hanging outside for several years in a North Edmonton community. A kind neighbour was able to trap me and get me indoors right as winter rolled in and with time and patience, I have blossomed into a wonderful kitty that is ready for my forever home!

About Me: Hello there. My name is Toffee Crystallina, and I am a tabby gentleman looking for a quiet place to call my own. Since I spent some time living outdoors, I can be a little shy and easily startled by loud noises, but I am what you might call a lovebug in training. I like to maintain a bit of independence, but once I decide it is cuddle time, I will happily claim your lap for a nap. I am a very well-behaved housemate who stays off the counters and uses my scratching posts exactly as intended, though I do have one very important job: I must rearrange the area rugs every single day to ensure the floor layout is just right. When I am not busy with my interior decorating or watching the birds through the window, you might hear my special trilling meow letting you know that I am ready for a snack.

I am an expert at solo play and short power naps, but I do appreciate a feline friend who can keep up with my morning zoomies. I would thrive in a calm home, like a condo or a smaller house, where I can build a strong bond with one or two patient people. I am not a big fan of being picked up, but I can absolutely be won over with a good meal. I have a very healthy appetite and will eat just about anything put in front of me, though I sometimes get a little too excited and drool when I am happy. Because I came from the outdoors, I may have a tendency to over eat, so I need a human who can help keep my portions managed.

If you are looking for a gentle, polite companion who just needs a little time to show his true colors, I think we would get along tremendously.

Vetting: I am neutered, dewormed, microchipped and partially vaccinated

Ace Quill

Date of Birth: July 9, 2025

Sex: Male

Energy levels: Medium

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes, I’m good with other cats given the proper introduction
  • Dogs: Unknown, I would likely do well with calm dogs after a proper introduction
  • Kids: Yes, I am good with gentle, respectful kids

Rescue Story: Not much is known about my past as I was a transfer from Animal Care & Control but I came in with 2 other siblings and we were all super friendly! I am hanging out at Pet Valu Millbourne, ready to meet you and charm my way into a forever home!

About Me: Hey! My name is Ace, and I am the kind of fellow who believes there is no such thing as a stranger, only a friend I haven’t rubbed my face against yet. I sport a medium-length white coat accented with bold black patches and a striking black tail, though I prefer a look that is more “perfectly disheveled” than pristine. My fur has a naturally messy texture that gives me a ruggedly adorable charm, making me stand out in any room. They say dogs are a man’s best friend, but… you may change your mind on that quote once you meet me! Everyone who meets me says I’m the most loving kitty they’ve ever known!

I am a true enthusiast for my wet food, which I expect to enjoy twice a day to keep me feeling my best and my coat looking its signature level of messy-cute. In between those main events, I appreciate having some dry kibble available to snack on whenever the mood strikes. I’ll be sure to give you a vocal reminder if I think you’re running even a minute behind on my breakfast or dinner service.

I live for human connection and thrive on being the center of your world. If you are standing still, expect me to be weaving through your legs or leaning my weight into your hand to request some quality chin scratches. I am outgoing, and deeply affectionate, always ready to strike up a conversation or offer a comforting purr. Most people say I am the cat everyone falls in love with, and I take that job very seriously. I just want to be where the people are, sharing my warmth and making sure everyone around me feels as loved as I do.

If you think I might be the guy for you, come visit me at Pet Valu Melbourne to begin our furever future together!

Springer & Blue Jay Oak

Date of Birth: September 18, 2025

Sex: Female (Springer- tabby) & Male (Blue Jay- black)

Energy levels: Medium

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes, we are good with other cats given the proper introduction
  • Dogs: Unknown, we would likely do well with dogs after a proper introduction
  • Kids: Yes, we are good with gentle, respectful kids

Rescue Story: We were born outside in a south Edmonton trailer park community. A kind man was feeding us and helping us out and CCE was contacted to get us into care. We are now old enough and socialized enough to find our forever home!

About Us: Hi! We’re Springer & Blue Jay, a bonded brother and sister duo who can’t wait to find our forever home

I’ll start, I’m Springer… a quiet, sensitive tabby girl with a heart that blooms when I feel safe. I might be a little shy at first and prefer not to make the first move, but I truly enjoy affection. The moment you start petting me, I completely melt—pressing into your hand and lowering my head in anticipation, as if I’ve been waiting all along for that connection. I’m not a fan of being picked up, but I show my love in my own gentle ways, leaning into pets and soaking up attention on my terms.

Mealtime is my absolute favorite event of the day, and I get adorably excited, zooming around in happy little circles. I take comfort in other cats and gain confidence quickly when I have a friendly feline around to show me the ropes, and with a bit of patience, I’ll be the sweetest, most genuine companion.

And I’m Bluejay! I am a charming black kitten with the perfect blend of shy and affectionate. While I might take a little time to warm up, I enjoy being around people and I blossom with gentle attention. I absolutely love being held… once I’m in your arms, I settle right in and purr, happy to stay there as long as you’ll have me. I’m the kind of kitten who just needs someone to take that first step, and then I give my trust so fully.

Just like my sister, I get hilariously excited about food and enjoy eating wet food twice a day. If you think we might be the pair for you, we can’t wait to reward your patience with warmth, cuddles, and quiet companionship.

Vetting: We are spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated

Adoption Fee: $350 for us as a pair!

Joy Ulta

Date of Birth: March 9, 2025

Sex: Female

Energy levels: Medium

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes, I love being with other cats, and would do good in a house with another adult cat (no young ones though, I don’t like to wrestle!)
  • Dogs: Unknown, I would likely do well with dogs after a proper intro
  • Kids: Yes, I am good with gentle, respectful kids who understand boundaries

Rescue Story: I was a part of an animal seizure case where there were many cats in one home that were in poor condition and I had bad teeth. CCE stepped in and got me a much needed dental and now I am ready for my forever home!

About Me: Hi, I’m Joy! I might be small in stature, but I’m a massive presence once I decide you’re worthy of my company. I operate on a unique frequency of curiosity, independence, and absolute silliness.

I may start off a bit shy, watching from the shadows, but if you wave a wand toy or one of those liquid tube treats, you’ll find I’m remarkably easy to bribe. I’m a fast learner, too… show me the household routine once, and I’ll have it mastered. A consistent environment will help my confidence continue to grow.

Once I’ve decided we’re best friends, prepare for the full Joy experience! My daily schedule involves “burying” my meals for later, sampling the water in your glass to ensure it meets my standards, and engaging in high-stakes combat with the vacuum cleaner. I also have a professional interest in interior design, which mostly involves unrolling your toilet paper across the bathroom floor. If you catch me in the act, expect me to look you dead in the eye and stick my tongue out. It’s my signature move.

Despite my chaotic energy, I am the furthest thing from a diva when it comes to the dinner table. I will never complain about what’s on the menu. I’ve had all my teeth removed to treat a bout of stomatitis, but don’t think for a second that has dampened my appetite or my spirit. I’m a wet food connoisseur now, and as long as the bowls are full, I’m a happy girl.

I’m looking for a home that appreciates a smart, toothless wonder with a bit of mystery and a lot of heart – could that be with you?

Vetting: I am spayed, dewormed, microchipped and partially vaccinated

Denver Breakfast

Date of Birth: October 5, 2020

Sex: Male

Energy levels: Low/Medium

Good with:

  • Cats: I have FIV and should be the only cat in the home.
  • Dogs: Unknown, I may adjust with slow introductions
  • Kids: Older kids are great, but I get overwhelmed by too much high energy

Rescue story: I lived outside for years in SE Edmonton, and was in rough shape until a lovely colony caretaker reached out to CCE for help to get me back to my best self! I am doing great now and ready for my forever home.

About Me: Hi, I’m Denver!
Part cat, part weighted blanket, part clingy boyfriend who simply will not take a hint. I am the ultimate velcro cat—if you sit, I sit on you. If you lie down, I’m diving on top of you.
Personal space? Never heard of her.

I am outrageously affectionate, very committed to making sure both your hands are used for petting at all times (phones will be gently, but firmly removed), and letting you know I need more attention.

My hobbies include sleeping like a tiny human, playing with my favourite toys (and occasionally your ankles), and being your little spoon at night. I will be your shadow, your blanket, and your biggest fan. I have a soft, low-to-medium energy vibe with bursts of chaos, followed by long naps.

I am a FIV+ King, and I can live a very happy, full life, but I will need a dedicated human to stay on top of my health and care for any potential health complications. I also need to thrive as your one-and-only feline, soaking up all the love and giving it right back x100!

My ideal home is with someone who can be emotionally (and physically) attached to me, keep treats secured, and will love a cat who loves too much.

My food is important to me – I am a refined gentleman and am loyal to my Fancy Feast pâté and will politely decline other options. I am also very treat-motivated, so you’ve also got a built-in best friend for snacks!

Vetting: I am neutered, dewormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated

Adoption Fee: $100 – my fee is discounted to help me find my furrever home!

Penguin McLeod

Date of Birth: July 1, 2024

Sex: Female

Energy levels: Medium

Good with:

    • Cats: No, I need to be the only cat in my future home
    • Dogs: Unknown, I may adjust with slow introductions
    • Kids: Yes, I am good with gentle, respectful and older kids.

Rescue Story: I was outside in North Edmonton with my kittens being fed and cared for by a neighbour. CCE was contacted for help and we were all trapped and brought indoors to live the good life before it got too cold. I am hanging out at Pet Valu Canterra – come and visit me!

About Me: Hello, my name is Penguin and I am guessing you can see why!

I am one beautiful black and white tuxedo girl and my foster mama says I have the BEST personality. I am incredibly sweet and will stick my nose right up to yours and give you kisses…. right on the lips! I am not a shy girl and I love to show affection whenever I can.

I am a curious cat, so I like to get into …. whatever you’re doing. I may inspect things just to make sure they’re working and be an incredible helper, too. Being pet is one of my favourite things so I will rub right up against you and ask for pets whenever I can.

I may be a bit of a door dasher (which is probably how I ended up outside to begn with) so my future family will have to watch that. I would do best in a home where I am the queen of the castle (no other cats, please!) and my people love spending time with me.

I am currently eating kibble & wet food daily. I love my wet food and would love a home that could continue with this diet long term.

Vetting: I am spayed, dewormed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated

Langdon Pitt

Date of Birth: May 4, 2025

Sex: Male

Energy levels: Medium/High

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes, I should do well with slow intros with another friendly cat
  • Dogs: Unknown, but with slow intros I should adjust to a dog
  • Kids: Older kids would be ok, but young ones would be too scary!

Rescue Story: I was surrendered to CCE from a home where there was a large over population of cats. After getting vet care and getting comfortable in foster care, I am eager to meet my forever people!

About Me: Hi, I’m Langdon Pitt — I’m a handsome boy with the most unique markings. Another unique thing about me is I’m a Manx, so I have a little nub tail!

I’ll be honest… I’m a little shy at first. New sounds? New rooms? New people? I like to take my time and make sure everything feels safe. But once I decide you’re one of the good ones, oh — you’ll know it. I become your devoted little shadow, your lap warmer, your talkative, purring sidekick who just wants to stay close.

Once I’m comfortable, I have lots to tell you, especially when I’m exploring. I have the sweetest little trill that turns into a meow. I need to tell you about all the neat things I’m seeing and discovering.

I love to play, wand toys are my favorite. I could play with you for hours if you wanted too. But when it’s nap time, I will come find your lap for purrs and cuddles. And don’t get me started on Churu’s, those things are awesome!

I’d love a quieter home where I can blossom at my own pace. I’d love to have another cat to play with — I’m respectful and would likely mind my manners, whether they’re a wise senior or a bouncy youngster. I think I’d do well with cat savvy older kids, but tiny humans might make me retreat to my favorite hiding place as they can be a little unpredictable for me.

Sometimes I get a little overstimulated during pets — just a tiny flicker of sass — but I’ve never hurt anyone. I just like to remind everyone that I’m still in charge.

I’m currently enjoying Fancy Feast pate wet food with kibble and would love to continue on that diet please.

Vetting:  I am neutered, dewormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated

Hopper & Cricket McLeod

Date of Birth: September 23, 2025

Sex: Male

Energy levels: Medium/High

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes! We both adore cats and would love a feline friend!
  • Dogs: Yes. We both love our resident basset hound as much as other kitties!
  • Kids: Unknown, we should be okay with respectful, patient kids, and a proper introduction.

Rescue Story: My mama had our siblings and us outside and a kind lady was feeding us and helping us out until CCE was contacted for help. CCE trapped us all and brought us in and now we are looking for our forever home!

About Us: Hi there! I’m Cricket, and if you’ve ever wanted a cat with built-in commentary, I’m your guy — just like a cricket, I’ll chirp your ear off!

I firmly believe silence is suspicious, so I’ll happily yell about everything — dinner being late, dinner being early, the audacity of you eating without me, or the injustice of a closed door. I have opinions, and you will hear them.

I’m also a world-class food hound. This isn’t a hobby — it’s a lifestyle. I will investigate your plate, consider your mouth a potential food source, and possibly sell you out for a snack.

Underneath the drama, I’m a total sweetheart. I adore other cats, happily welcomed the resident basset hound into my kingdom, and I’m a certified cuddle lover who can’t get enough pets. Plus, I have the cutest white nose — like I dipped it in milk.

I’m Hopper — Cricket’s softer, slightly more cautious shadow.

Where Cricket shouts, I observe. I might try to run away at first (mostly out of principle), but food is a powerful motivator, and I’ll absolutely appear when snacks are involved.

I’m shy and gentle, but I love other cats and the resident basset hound just as much as Cricket does. I also have a handsome dark nose that makes my sweet face extra expressive.

Most importantly, I’m deeply bonded to Cricket. I follow his lead, and we’re very much a packaged deal — a bold spokesperson and his quieter best friend.

With time, patience, and snacks, I blossom. I may not yell at you like Cricket does, but when I choose you, it’s pretty special.

Adopt us together and you get:
• One loud, food-obsessed entertainer
• One shy, loyal sidekick
• Double the tabby charm
• Two boys who already love cats — and dogs

Vetting: We are neutered, dewormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated

Adoption Fee: $250 for the purrfect brother duo

Oswald Song

Date of Birth: September 5, 2020

Sex: Male

Energy Levels: Low/Medium

Good with:
Cats: Yes, as long as they are cat-friendly I should do well with a play mate and friend!
Dogs:  Unknown, I’d likely be best in a dog-free home
Kids: Older kids may be ok, younger ones would be too unpredictable

Rescue Story: I was found at a rural property in Strathcona County. Since other cats have been abandoned here, it’s believed I was left intentionally. I was adopted out but was returned through no fault of my own. I am now ready for my furrever home!

About Me: Hi, I’m a soft-hearted, sensitive boy who just needed someone to show me the world is safe.

When I first came into foster care, I was very scared but I slowly worked up the courage to explore. Eye contact used to frighten me, so my foster human gave me space and stuck to a steady routine. That consistency helped me blossom.

Now I’m deeply affectionate — I just have my own language. I don’t like hands coming toward my face, but if you hold your hand low with the back facing me, I’ll happily walk right into it for pets. If you say “touch” before reaching for me, that helps too. I can still startle sometimes, but I’m very forgiving and settle quickly when things feel calm again.

My favorite thing in the world is stretching out on you while you’re lying down. That’s when I feel safest. After months of patience, I now jump up on my own for snuggles and give sweet chin and shin head bumps. I respond to slow blinks, will quietly chat once I know you, and I love keeping you company in the kitchen or bathroom.

Playtime before meals is part of my daily routine. I once feared the feather wand, but now I’ll leap and twist (a little clumsily!) to catch it. I also love ping pong balls, tunnels, catnip toys, and chasing games around my vertical scratching posts. I only scratch my trees — I’m a very polite gentleman.

I’m low-to-medium energy, litter box perfect, patient if meals run late, and not interested in human food. I can be picky — Fancy Feast pâté or grilled are my usual favorites, especially with a sprinkle of nutritional yeast or FortiFlora.

I’m shy with new people and need a few visits to feel brave. Sudden movements and loud homes aren’t for me, so I’d do best with experienced adults who can offer a quiet environment and consistent routine. I may enjoy a calm feline friend with the right match.

Vetting: I am neutered, dewormed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.
