Rescue story:  I was found outside roaming in Edmonton and brought to ACCC. After I was not claimed I was transferred to CCE to find my furrever home. I am hanging out at Pet Valu Canterra, come and visit me!

About Me: Hi, I’m Felix, a young, orange tabby gentleman with a LOT to say! If you’re looking for a kitty to chat with, you’ve found your man. I love meowing at my people, whether I’m asking for attention, requesting a meal, or simply hoping we can have a little conversation. I’ll tell you all about my day if you’re willing to listen!

I’m a super sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely LOVES people. Pets? Yes, please! Cuddles? Absolutely! Being carried around like the little king I am? Even better! I’m a bit of a ham when it comes to getting love, and I’m not shy about letting you know when I want some. I’m looking for a home where I can be someone’s special guy and get all the attention my big orange heart desires.

Of course, I have a playful side, too! Wand toys are lots of fun, and I’m always happy to mix a little playtime into my day. But let’s be honest, one of my greatest talents is being adorable and convincing humans to give me affection.

I’m not quite sure how I feel about other animals, but with slow, proper introductions, I may be able to adjust to having furry housemates. What I know for sure is that I want a home where I feel safe, loved, and included in the family.

Rescue story:  I was born outdoors in a cat colony in west Edmonton. I was rescued by CCE. When I first arrived in foster care, the world was scary and humans were to be feared. Thanks to my wonderful fosters I have come a loving kitty and am ready for my furrever home!

About Me: Hi there! I’m Jet, a beautiful black panther with a personality that’s equal parts independent and cuddly. I’ve got a little bit of everything to offer my future family!

I like to keep my options open when it comes to nap time. Sometimes you’ll find me tucked away under the bed, enjoying some peaceful alone time. Other times, I’ll be curled up beside you on the couch. I’m not always looking for attention, but I do like to quietly follow you around the house and keep you company. Think of me as your little shadow who likes to do her own thing!

I can be a bit shy when meeting new people, so I might need some time to warm up. Don’t take it personally if I disappear to my hiding spot at first. I promise I don’t have a mean bone in my body! Once I feel safe and comfortable, my affectionate side comes out quickly. I especially love tummy pets and butt scratches, and I’ll happily roll around to show you just how much I’m enjoying myself. I’m also quite the purr machine, sometimes before I’ve even settled in for a proper cuddle!

When I’m not busy being adorable, I love to play! Wand toys, laser pointers, and little mice are some of my favourites. Just be careful with anything that has strings, ribbons, or tails, because I’m a determined little chewer. Those toys are best kept out of my reach when playtime is over. I also love to climb, so a cat tree where I can race up and down is a must for my new home.

And if you’re wondering how to win me over, I have a weakness for food! I’m very treat-motivated, and I’m not fussy about brands. I currently enjoy a little can of wet food for breakfast and dry food in the evening. Speaking of breakfast, you’ll definitely hear from me when it’s time to eat. I have plenty to say, especially when my morning meal is involved!

I’m still learning that being picked up isn’t so bad, and with patience and time, I may become more comfortable with it. I’d love a family who understands that trust is something we build together and who will let me settle in at my own pace.

About Me: Hi, I’m Fernley!

I’m a beautiful ginger girl with a funny little walk and a whole lot of love to give. I may do things a little differently, but don’t let that fool you. I can climb cat trees, tackle stairs, and chase my favourite wand toys with enthusiasm! When I really get going, I even bunny-hop to pick up speed. I’m proof that a little obstacle isn’t going to stop me from enjoying life.

I have a hip injury that affects my mobility, so sometimes getting up onto the couch is a bit of a challenge. When I need a helping hand, I’ll let you know with my adorable little squeaks. And trust me, helping me up is worth it, because I’m a total cuddle bug! I love snuggling on the couch, curling up in a comfy spot, and coming to bed to sleep beside my favourite humans. I’m a lap cat who believes that love is best shared up close.

I can be a little timid when I first arrive somewhere new, so I’ll need a quiet space and some time to settle in. Once I feel comfortable, you’ll see my sweet, affectionate personality shine.

I get along well with other cats and am very respectful of my feline friends, including seniors. I’d love a friendly kitty companion to keep me company, ideally one who enjoys playing but isn’t overly young or rambunctious. I’m not sure how I feel about dogs, and I’d do best with children who understand that I have some physical limitations and will treat me gently.

My ideal home would have plenty of comfortable space to explore, with fewer stairs and high places to navigate. I might need a little extra help now and then, but I have plenty of independence and a big personality packed into this ginger girl!

I’m not a picky eater, either, so that’s one less thing to worry about. I love my wet food and am getting kibble daily. I will need to be schedule fed!

About Me: Hi, I’m Luna! I may be a little girl, but I have a big personality and lots of love to give!

I’m the kind of cat who likes to be where the action is, so you’ll often find me following you around while you tackle your chores. Coming home? I’ll be there to greet you! Need someone to chat with? I’m happy to help with that, too. I’m quite the talker and will answer to my name with a sweet little trill. If dinner is late, though, I might have a few louder words for you!

I’m a playful girl who loves to jump, pounce, and show off my brave side. My second-favourite toy is a little bird toy, because apparently pretending to be a mighty hunter is very important work. But my absolute favourite thing in the world? A long, crumpled piece of brown packing paper from an Amazon box. I can dive-bomb it, hide in it, run over it, and even curl up for a nap inside. 

When I’m not busy playing, I enjoy watching real birds from a safe window or enclosed patio.  I appreciate a predictable routine. Breakfast at 9 a.m. and dinner at 5 p.m., please! I enjoy a variety of dry foods and have a particular fondness for creamy pâté-style wet food.

I’m a friendly little lady who enjoys meeting visitors and has done well with younger children. I have gentle paws and even seem to tolerate nail trims pretty well. I also have a softer, cuddlier side. If you sit down, there’s a good chance I’ll come settle on your lap, and I enjoy being held, too. I like being close to my humans, whether we’re playing, relaxing, or simply going about our day together.

As for other cats, I can be a little unsure when we first meet. Give me some time, patience, and a friendly feline who respects my space, and I can learn to coexist quite happily. I’m also perfectly content entertaining myself, watching the world outside, or supervising whatever it is you humans think you’re doing.

About Me: Hi, I’m Bingo! I’m a handsome guy who likes to take life at my own pace. I can be a little reserved at first, so I prefer to sit back and observe everything happening around me. But don’t mistake my quiet nature for being boring — once I’m comfortable, I have plenty of energy and I LOVE to play!

I’m especially fond of other kitties and would really love a feline friend in my forever home. One of my favourite games is sneak attack — I’ll happily chase, pounce, and zoom around with another playful cat. I’m looking for a kitty companion who enjoys playing as much as I do.

I’m also quite the explorer. I’m not much of a jumper, though. Instead of leaping up onto something high, I prefer to climb my way up and investigate things from there. A home with lots of space and things to explore would be wonderful.

When it comes to my humans, I’m currently more of a “love you from afar” kind of guy. I’m a bit of a lover boy. While some kittens are constantly zooming around the house, I’m perfectly happy to slow things down and curl up beside you. About Me: Hi there! My name is Karma, and my foster mama says I was given my name because kindness comes back around — so whoever gives me my best forever home is sure to have some good karma coming their way! 

I’m a playful, curious girl who loves my wand toys. I’ve even learned how to fetch — I’ll bring my toy right back to you for another round! Daily playtime is a must for me, so I’d love a home where play can become part of our regular routine. I’m also an excellent scratcher and use my scratching posts and cardboard scratchers like a pro, so I’d definitely like some of those in my forever home.

When I’m not busy playing, you can often find me stretched out in a sunny spot or supervising from your desk. I love showing off my belly, but don’t be fooled… it’s a trap! 😂 I will give some nice kisses when I am stretched out on the desk in my happy zone; from your hands to your face… I am sweet on my own watch.

About Me: Hi, I’m Kaya and I am one tiny kitten with a big purrsonality!

You may notice my one eye is a bit milky, but not to worry, it doesn’t slow me down and has been looked at by a vet. I love to run around and wrestle with my brothers. You may think just because I am the tiniest one that they beat me… but think again! I am one athletic girly. 

If you have a wand toy, well, all bets are off. I will jump higher than you can imagine and do everything I can to get that little feather. I have even parkoured off people to win… and win I will. 

When I am done causing kitten chaos, I am the first one to jump up for some snuggles with my foster mama. I love a good cuddle (especially when there is a fluffy blanket involved) but I also love hanging out in the cat tree close by, especially if one of my brothers joins me. 

My ideal home would have another young cat to keep me company and play with me. I do great with dogs and kids so the more, the merrier, for this girl. I do need a home with either another cat, I cannot be adopted to  a home on my own.

Meal time is MY time and I will climb my foster mama to get to the wet food. I hear that can open and BAM, I will get there before she is done portioning it out. I also snack on the Performatin kibble, but please make sure you stock up on Fancy Feast for me!

Miss Vickie Chip

Rescue Story: I was found outside, pregnant and with no owner in sight. A kind person took me to ACCC where I gave birth immediately upon arrival. I was stressed and CCE stepped in to take me and my babies to find us the best homes. 

About Me: Hey there! I’m the mama of the Chip family, with warm hues of orange and brown in my tabby fur. and striking hazel eyes. For a long time, my main job was being a dedicated mom, but now that my babies are all grown up, I am officially retiring from motherhood. I’ve spent so long taking care of everyone else, and now I am ready for a life where I finally get to be the baby.

Because I spent part of my life surviving outdoors, I’m still a gentle, sensitive soul who can be easily startled by loud noises or sudden, fast movements. If you approach me too quickly, my instinct is to run away. However, if you take a calm, gentle approach, you will find that I absolutely adore affection. Belly rubs are my absolute favorite thing in the world, and I will happily sprawl out right in front of you for endless belly pets. I have never shown an ounce of pet aggression, so you can keep the love coming. I also love scratches under the chin and a good brushing session to keep my coat looking gorgeous.

Since I’ve been busy raising my little ones, people usually only see my calm, nurturing side. But let me let you in on a little secret: when the babies are fast asleep, I love to pick up a toy, carry it over to my foster mama, and let out the tiniest little whimper to signal that I still like to play too. When a wand toy comes out, I am always ready to show off my fierce skills. The rest of my time is spent living very peacefully. I am quite content to spend my days lounging in warm sunbeams and looking out the window.

My foster mama is currently training me to be a lap cat, and I am very hopeful that I’ll get there one day with the right person. If you want to fast-track our friendship, the way to my heart is definitely through my stomach. I thoroughly enjoy Friskies and Fancy Feast wet food, I love Temptations and Churu treats, and I have been happily munching on Royal Canin dry kibble.
