Rescue Story: I had a home for many years & sadly one day my life was threatened. I was driven into the city by one of my owners and was told if I returned, I would be shot. CCE was contacted & had to find an emergency spot to save my life. Now I am safe, and ready for a home that appreciates me for the rest of my days!

I am a chatty boy and I have MANY stories to tell – did you see how I was almost shot? I have had quite the life so far. I do like to talk to you and tell you about my day, remind you nicely when I am to be fed, and complain if you put me in a carrier.
I love to hang out with you and get pets but I am not quite a lap cat. I can be picked up for short periods of time but I mostly prefer to sit next to you on the couch or in a cat tree and watch over you. I am not too needy but the perfect balance of ‘being around’ without ‘being all up in your business’.
I am not a more mellow guy, but I do have my moments of playing and zoomies. I’d say I am mostly low energy but sometimes am medium energy. If you played with me, I may be more inclined to play!
My ideal home is one ready to keep spoiling me for the rest of my days. I would love if you talked back to me and my requests… I mean, who likes a one-sided conversation? I’d likely adjust to another fur friend with slow introductions. I did well with the older kids in my foster home.
I love wet food, but only he minced stuff – no pate here – only the best for me! I will also eat kibble… I guess. But wet food once a day at least, please!
