Rescue Story: I was living outside as part of a colony of community cats in South Edmonton. Thankfully, the colony has a dedicated caretaker. He noticed that I am friendly and began to suspect I would be well suited to an indoor life. He contacted CCE and they were able to bring me into foster care. I have been living my best life ever since and I can’t wait to find my furever home.
About Me: Hi hoomans, I am Cedric and I am so very pleased to meet you. First I want to tell you that I am so very grateful to be rescued. I love living inside and having my own human to love. My foster mama tells me I am a really well behaved boy and she suspects it’s because I am just so happy to live inside again. I am also a very affectionate boy. I mostly just want to be where you are and get some cuddles and love. If you are looking for a #1 cuddler to enter your life, it’s me, pick me! I surely will not disappoint.
In addition to being the sweetest man on the planet, I am told I am also very cute. I don’t care about being cute, I only care about cuddles but my foster mama tells me being cute helps me get more cuddles so that’s great. I have sleek, black fur which is soft and purrfect for petting. I also have the biggest tom cat cheeks you’ve ever seen. I just love it when you scratch them for me. You might notice my ears are a bit tattered, they got too cold when I was living outside so they are damaged due to frostbite. Don’t worry, I am not in any pain and I think it just gives me more character.
My ideal home would be one with someone who wants to cuddle me as much as I want to cuddle them. I do okay with other animals too. I am very passive and respectful to the other cats in the foster home. I also live with a dog and while I am not interested in cuddling her…(dogs are stinky)…I do give her a wide berth and I never cause conflict. Could I join your family? Whaddya say? I am the purrfect fit for anyone in need of more love in their life.
