Blur Wellington

Date of Birth: May 1, 2021

Sex: Female

Energy levels: Medium

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes, I’m good with other cats, given a proper introduction
  • Dogs:  Unknown, could do good with a dog given the proper introduction
  • Kids: No, I probably wouldn’t get along with younger, high energy kids

Rescue Story: I was found outdoors and brought to the trap-neuter-release program but after my surgery, I needed some extra attention. Luckily, someone noticed my friendly nature, brought me to a foster home and I’ve been learning to trust humans more every day.

About Me: Hello, my name is Blur, and I’m a sweet but shy cat with short, sleek fur. I might be a bit reserved at first, but once you get to know me, you’ll discover my playful and affectionate side!

I’m a bit of a homebody who prefers the comfort of familiar surroundings over meeting new people. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle me, so I tend to stick close to my people at home. I also have a unique way of showing affection: I love wedging myself between your body and arm for a cozy armpit cuddle.

My energy level is average, meaning I enjoy a good play session, especially with a wand toy or laser pointer. Sometimes, I even make my own fun playing with simple things like bottle caps. But I also appreciate my naps, and can often be found lounging in my cat tree on my comfy pillow.

I’m not one for being picked up, and I might get nervous if you try, but I’ll never lash out. I just need someone who understands my boundaries and lets me come to them on my own terms. Over time, lickable treats have really helped me warm up and trust my person more.

My ideal home is a quiet one, with patient people who enjoy sleeping close at night. I haven’t had much experience with dogs, but I’m open to a calm and polite canine friend. Since I grew up outside in a colony with other cats, I’d likely do well with any cats you may have at home. I’d  even do well with a respectful senior cat, as I know how to be gentle.

If you’re looking for a quiet, affectionate companion who will slowly but surely steal your heart, I’m your girl. I can’t wait to find a patient, loving home where I can continue to blossom!

Vetting: I am spayed, dewormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated
