Rescue Story: Sadly, my family was no longer able to care for me. Although they loved me very much, they knew it was best for me to find a new family. CCE was contacted to help me find a new home, which they did, but the resident cat there didn’t like me trying to play with him so I was returned again. Now I am looking for a forever home… third times a charm, right?
About Me: Hi I am Quincy and I am a complete love muffin once I get to know you! They call me a shadow cat because I like to just be around you as much as I can. I am also a bit of a lap cat when it’s time for us to relax so if you’re sitting on the couch I’m going to be right next to you – sound good?
I am a pretty relaxed and carefree boy and my energy levels are not too high. However, I love to patrol the entire house if you let me. My favourite past time is to sun tanning under the window and chill like a lizard. I am pretty well behaved and I don’t scratch furniture or get up to anything too troublesome.
I am a lover of both cats and dogs and I enjoy making new friends. I need a home with another young cat or to be the king of the castle as I pester senior kitties (I just want a play mate!). I am pretty easy going otherwise and have done well with both young and old children in my previous home.
I am currently eating a grain-free kibble and wet food – and boy do I have an appreciation for food! If I am in a multi-pet environment, I may need to be fed separate as otherwise I will go around and try to help finish my friends meals. I do need to be schedule fed due to my extreme love of food and the potential I have to over eat. I would need a home that can commit to this so I can keep up my career as an athlete!
