Rescue Story: I was found in my foster mamas parking garage. A nice lady posted a heads up about me in the building elevator and she and my foster mama would feed me until I was trapped. My foster mama was finally able to trap me when she found me crying in her storage. CCE was contacted to help and get me into care – now I am looking for my furrever home!
About Me: Hello, I’m the great Gatsby! I am one curious boy that loves to play and explore; I often follow my foster mama around the house, checking out whatever she is into. I also like to talk to her with my soft little meows, so I hope you like a chatty friend to supervise you around the house.
I can be a total lap kitten (or an occasional shoulder kitten) when I am done running around and playing or when it’s time for bed. I do adorable little air biscuits when I am happy and then come right in for a snuggle. When I am really snoozing, I sleep with my mouth open – it’s adorable! I am also what you would call a floppy cat, I am as clumsy as I am cute.
My ideal home would have another young cat for me to be friends with. I do love affection so I hope my forever home has lots of time to spend with me and give me lots of kisses. I should adjust to kids/dogs with proper and slow introductions as well. I sound totally purrfect, right? Well, my foster mama says I have two bad habits. First, no food can be left on the counters – I will eat it! It taste so good, sorry. Also, plants are not totally safe with me. If the pots are big enough, I will make them my litter box (sorry) but other than that… I am perfect, I swear!
Currently I am eating kibble and wet food. I will eat almost anything, but I love my wet food and because I don’t drink a lot of water my foster mama says it’s important I am given wet food daily. I promise to pay you back with lots of love!
