Rescue Story: My owner moved away and left me behind outside. I was really confused and unsure of what to do so I just stuck around the backyard hoping someone would help me. The landlord knew I couldn’t remain out there over the Winter so she contacted CCE. CCE was able to come get me and place me into foster care. I sure am glad to be living the indoor cat life again. I am the sweetest boy and can’t wait to find my furever family!
About Me: Calling all hoomans….it’s me Irwin. I can’t wait to meet you. You might have heard…I recently had a sad experience…but I don’t let that dampen my spirit…I just love hoomans so much. My foster mama thinks I am just the best natured boy who ever lived. I have settled into my new life in foster care without a hiccup and I’m just so grateful to have been rescued before the Winter. I am a laid back boy who gets along with everyone I meet. I love getting pets and attention. It’s really what I long for most in this life. I have a chirpy, kind of raspy meow that I often use to locate my foster mama and tell her about my day. She tells me I am very charming. I like to play a little bit too, especially with toys that make a bit of noise but I usually only play for a few minutes that then it’s cuddle time again.
In addition to being the sweetest boy you’ve ever known, I might also be the biggest. I am large and in charge but I never throw my weight around. I am placid…a true gentle giant. I also have the greenest eyes you have ever seen. I am told they are quite handsome. I have plush, buff, tabby fur and I am even sporting a few leopard spots by my bum. My best feature by far though, I am told, is my big tom-cat cheeks. My foster mama finds them hard to resist and I don’t mind if you can’t resist either. It’s okay to go ahead and give me a kiss…or even two!
I would do well in most any home but I long to go somewhere that has lots of love in store for me! I hope to become a true part of the family. I want to be your partner in crime (or just cuddles) for life. I think I would be just fine with other friendly cats too so if you already have a furry friend, that’s okay for me. The more-the-merrier as far as I’m concerned. What do you say? Can I join your family? I think I am just the extra large sized pile of love you’ve been waiting for!
I am currently eating a grain-free dry and wet food diet and I would need to continue this in my new home.
