Rescue Story: I was born outside in a south Edmonton community and CCE was contacted to help our litter. Mama and all us babies were captured, brought into care and got the vet care we needed. We are now ready for our furrever homes!
About Me: Hello world, my name is Antoinette. I am a dainty, shorthair princess with a lovely multi-colored coat, growing up as the gentle sister alongside three rowdy brothers. Compared to my rambunctious family, I’m quiet, shy, and timid, taking a little bit of time to build up my trust with new friends.
When I first arrive in a new place, my natural instinct is to hide until I feel safe and comfortable. I have a medium energy level, but you won’t find me jumping right into your lap—I prefer to show my affection by loving you from afar at first.
I’ve come a long way in my foster home and have learned not to be fearful when you reach out to pet me. Once you earn my trust, I’ll gladly let you give me sweet neck scratches, and I’ll reward you with the softest purrs.
Because I gain so much of my confidence from my family, I feel most secure when I’m around my loved ones. My ideal forever home must have a feline companion to help me feel safe and thrive. I am living with several adult cats now and am doing great with them.
I enjoy eating my meals of wet food, as well as snacking on some dry food or treats in between. If you have a gentle heart with steady patience, I might be the girl for you!
Vetting: I am spayed, dewormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated
