Rescue story: I was living outside on a rural property outside of Edmonton. I was trapped and brought into CCE’s care with two of my siblings. I am now ready for my furrever home!
About Me: Hi, I’m Bingo! I’m a handsome guy who likes to take life at my own pace. I can be a little reserved at first, so I prefer to sit back and observe everything happening around me. But don’t mistake my quiet nature for being boring — once I’m comfortable, I have plenty of energy and I LOVE to play!
I’m especially fond of other kitties and would really love a feline friend in my forever home. One of my favourite games is sneak attack — I’ll happily chase, pounce, and zoom around with another playful cat. I’m looking for a kitty companion who enjoys playing as much as I do.
I’m also quite the explorer. I’m not much of a jumper, though. Instead of leaping up onto something high, I prefer to climb my way up and investigate things from there. A home with lots of space and things to explore would be wonderful.
When it comes to my humans, I’m currently more of a “love you from afar” kind of guy. I’ll happily hang out nearby and observe you, and when I’m perched in my favourite spot, I’ll let you give me pets. In fact, I LOVE being petted and even make some pretty funny little sounds while you do it. And if you stop before I’m ready? I might give you a little swat to let you know that I wasn’t finished!
Being picked up makes me nervous, but once I’m in your arms, I don’t struggle to get away. I just need someone patient who will let our relationship grow at my pace.
I’m a big fan of food. I’ve enjoyed both wet and dry food, and I’ve even been known to sample the resident kitties’ meals if given the opportunity. Scheduled meals would be best.
My dream home is a quieter one where I can take my time settling in, explore my surroundings, play with my kitty friend, and slowly build a special bond with my people. Could that be that with you?
