Rescue Story: We were born indoors in foster care last year. Our mama was a feral cat from one of the colonies CCE helps to take care of. We were then adopted but have been returned to foster care as our previous owners no longer wished to look after us. We are hoping to find a new home soon!
About Us: Hi Everyone! We are Bran and Barley Wellington…the two cutest grains you’ve ever meet. We are so excited to tell you about ourselves. The first thing you should know is that we have been together since we were born…so we are bonded and need to be adopted together. Who isn’t excited to have the two grain brothers become part of the household?
You might have also noticed that we look pretty similar. Never fear, we have a trick we can teach you so you can tell us apart. One of us (Bran) has stripey fur and the other (Barley) has fur that is more swirly. Now can you tell? We know, we know…we are both very handsome. Thank you for noticing. Enough about our looks right? What about our purrsonalities you say? Well…let us share more…
I’m Bran and I will go first. I am a very confident and outgoing kitty. I would do well in most any home. My favourite activity is to curl up in your lap in the evening when you are home from work. You could describe me as curious and fearless…I might get into a bit of trouble here and there but I am very sweet and I love your attention. Let me tell you about my brother Barley…he’s a little more shy than me. He’s cautious and timid. He’s not completely an introvert though…once he’s comfortable, he’s pretty chatty and he will tell you lots of stories and keep you company.
Could we join your family? We are in need of a someone who will commit to loving us for life. In return, we promise to bring you all the sweetness you will ever need (even though we are named after sugar free grains).
