Date of Birth: June 23, 2023
Sex: Female
Energy levels: Medium
Good with:
- Cats: Yes, I love other cats & need a home with at least one more!
- Dogs: No, I would prefer a home without dogs, they are scary.
- Kids: Yes, but older, cat-savvy kids for me please.
Rescue Story: I was trapped in North Edmonton in an area CCE has been assisting for many years. Our mama has proven to be very elusive and is the last cat left to be spayed. My brother and I were born outside & thankfully CCE was able to trap us and bring us in so that we can live as indoor cats.
About Me: Hey humans, I’m Cheerio & yes I am named after the cereal!
What about my purrsonality you ask? I am one shy girl that LOVES the company of other cats and LOVES to cuddle in a pile of cats. It’s my dream, really.
I can be playful in spurts, but I am pretty laid back overall and my energy level is medium at best. I do not always let my foster mom pet me and I like to get close but I run away from her if she gets too close… unless there is another cat on her lap. Then, I want to join the cat party and will purr my way onto the lap to cuddle with the cat there. You see, I REALLY need the confidence of another friendly cat to let me know it’s safe to climb up and come for snuggles. I will purr and drool all over the other cats & my foster mom once I’m up there and comfortable.
Despite logic and reasoning, I am still a bit fearful of people. My ideal home is one where I am a nice addition to a cat family or to a solo cat that really needs a cat friend. I am an ‘admire from far’ cat more often then snuggly, and hopefully your home has no dogs are they scare me. I will need a patient owner as it may take me a little time to come around and get comfortable.
I am currently eating a grain-free dry and wet food diet and would need to continue this in my furrever home!
Vetting: I am spayed, dewormed, microchipped & fully vaccinated.
Adoption Fee: $100 – my fee has been discounted to help me get the best home!
