Rescue Story: My brother and I were a barn near Edmonton and the farmer did not want to fix us. A kind lady came to feed us daily and once it got very cold, she convinced him to let her take us! She then contacted CCE for help. I am hanging out at Cheery Cat – come and visit me!
About Me: Hi, I’m Fawn! I’m a beautiful calico with a sweet little personality. I’m a little more on the quiet side, but once I feel comfortable, I’m the most gentle girl you’ll ever meet. It just takes me a little while to trust, but once I do, I’ll snuggle right into your arms and purr like crazy. I follow other cats lead—if they like you, I will too!
I’m still young and have a playful side, I love chasing toys around the house and bonding with humans when they wave around wand toys. I may take a minute to get comfortable with this but once you see me pounce you will be very impressed with my athletic abilities, promise!
My ideal home has another cat that I can play and cuddle with. I am a bit specific on my cat friends, I really love Beckham & Beckett at Cheery Cat so we think I’d do best with a male cat. I should adjust to dogs and kids in a home as long as they’re patient as I get comfortable with my new family. I have done well with older kids, but the small ones sometimes overstimulate me and I’ll run away from them, so no toddlers please.
I eat a mix of wet and dry food, so I’m pretty easy to please when it comes to meals. l’d love a diet that keeps me on wet food daily.
