Rescue Story: I showed up at a kind ladies house during a cold snap and she was feeding and caring for me. When it was -30 she let me inside and when no owner was located, CCE was contacted to help.

I’m a handsome fella with a medium energy level, but when it comes to lap time, I’m all in. I’m a *big* lap cat—seriously, I’m not exaggerating. The moment I hear you come home, I’ll race to the couch and make sure you sit so I can plop right onto your lap, sit on your chest, and purr like there’s no tomorrow. I love pets more than anything, and I’ll let you know when I’m ready for attention by being talkative (I mean, sometimes a guy’s gotta speak up, right?). I just want to make sure you know I’m here for all the love and affection!
I’m a pretty easy-going guy once I’ve had a little time to settle in, and I think I’d do great in a home where someone is around to give me lots of attention. I could probably share space with another cat if they’re introduced slowly, but honestly, I’d prefer to be your one and only. I’ve heard I can be a bit picky about having other animals around, and that’s totally cool by me—more space to love on you, right?
Like most cats, I enjoy my naps, so you’ll often find me lounging around, soaking up the sun or just enjoying some quiet time. But don’t let that fool you—I’m ready to jump into action if you need a little company, whether it’s curling up next to you for a cozy nap or just hanging out in the same room while you go about your day.
I’m not really sure how I feel about kids yet, but if they’re gentle and respect my boundaries, I think I could warm up to them. And don’t worry—I’m quick to adjust. I’ve already gotten pretty comfortable with my foster, and I’ll let you know if I need a little space by simply moving away. I like having my own personal space, but once we’re in sync, I’ll be your cuddly companion.
I do have a simple but tasty food preference—I’m eating a grain-free dry food along with some Weruva wet food daily. It keeps me feeling happy and healthy!
