Rescue Story: I was found on outside on a rural property, lonely, skinny and unkempt. Luckily, over the next few months, I made friends with the kind people that lived there who contacted CCE for help. I was then adopted out, but sadly my new dad had terrible allergies so was returned to CCE through no fault of my own.
About Me: Hello, I’m Tobias Duke, but you can call me Toby! I’m a charming and confident 1 year-old tabby with a personality as unique as my stubby little legs and pudgy cheeks. My life started a bit rough, but after narrowly escaping becoming a fox’s dinner, I’ve blossomed into a healthy, adventurous, and loving cat ready to find my forever home!
I’m a talkative and affectionate guy who loves to be around people. If you chat with me, I’ll answer right back and follow you around like your loyal little shadow. My way of showing love is unique—I purr, knead my paws, and gently hold onto your sweater or blanket with my mouth. It might look like I’m biting, but I’m so adorably gentle. It’s just my way of saying, “You’re mine!”

I’d do best in a home where I’m the only cat, as I prefer to be the king of the castle and am not interested in making friends with other felines (my foster parents have tried!) I’m great with people and would thrive in a household that appreciates my chatty, outgoing nature and unique ways of showing love. I am on a half wet, half dry diet, and I would love to be either kept on this diet, or (if possible) a fully wet diet.
