Rescue Story: I was from a litter that came from a feral colony. I was very spicy as a kitten and didn’t trust humans. Most of my brothers and sisters were adopted. But I wasn’t ready yet because I wasn’t very confident or comfortable with humans. I’ve come along way. I’m a little wary and nervous at first but I will be a great companion once I know you!
About Me: Have you ever heard the best things come with time? Well, that’s me! I am shy at first, but once I trust you – I am a total love bug! I am still getting used to humans and so far, I think they’re pretty good, but new ones have to be a bit patient with me so I can come out of my shell. I promise, underneath it all I am a confident and sassy ginger girl waiting for love!
I have a super cute meow when I want your attention for food or for pets. Once we are friends, I just love butt scritches and bum pats and will come right up to you for love. My favourite time is when you’re watching tv, I love to stretch out beside you and have a nice nap.
I am still a young girl so I have some kitten-like energy. Can you play with me? Wand toys are SO much fun and they help me get to know you! If you have a cat friend for me, that would be ideal. Young or old, I am respectful of other cats space. I grew up around a lot of cats and my foster mama has some cats as well – we are all great friends. I play with the ones that want me to and I cuddle and groom the senior cats.. so I can really get a long with any inviting kitty in my future home.
My ideal home is one that will be patient while I learn to figure out my new home. A quiet home would be ideal – no small kids, sorry! Too scary for me. I would do great with another cat or two to be friends with. I am not sure how I would do with dogs but if they were cat savvy and gentle, I am sure I would adjust with time and proper introductions.
I am currently eating wet and dry food and would need a home that can commit to giving me wet food at least once a day (I mean, who wouldn’t love this stuff?)
