Rescue story: My owner passed away and their family was looking for help for me and my sister. Unfortunately, we were kept outside in a cage and I tried to bite my way out. CCE got me dental care and now I am feeling better & ready for my forever home!
About Me: Hi there, I’m Mochi! I’m a handsome guy with a quiet, calm personality and a more laid-back approach to life. I’m a gentle boy who enjoys the simple things, like lounging in my cat tree, watching birds outside, and spending time with my feline friends.
One of my favourite places is my safe outdoor catio, where I can enjoy the fresh air and watch the world go by. I also love my companions! I’ve made friends with most of the cats around me, and I’ve never picked a fight with anyone. I’m a pretty easygoing fellow who gets along with cats of all ages, and I’d really love a forever home with a feline friend to keep me company.
When it comes to people, I’m more of a love-from-afar kind of guy. I enjoy having you around, but I also like to decide when I’m in the mood for cuddles. Sometimes I might be caught off guard if you approach me expecting affection, so it’s best to let me make the first move. After all, a gentleman likes to be consulted before the cuddles begin!
I do have a funny little greeting ritual, though. When I come to say hello, I like to give your mouth a good sniff. Don’t ask me why — I just like to make sure I know who I’m talking to!
Since I’m a quiet and gentle boy, I’d prefer a peaceful home with older, respectful kids who understand that I appreciate my personal space. Dogs are still a mystery to me, so I can’t say how I’d feel about one of those.
When it comes to food, I’m happiest with my dry food, especially Science Diet Digestive. I also enjoy a little cooked chicken breast, tuna fillets, and the occasional Greenies or Temptations treat.
