Rescue Story: I was living outside and a nice family was feeding me and my kittens. We made their deck our temporary home and CCE stepped in after the family posted on social media looking for help. I was a very hard working mama having to keep my kittens safe and warm throughout the winter, and now I’m ready to be pampered like the fancy indoor kitty I was meant to be. Unfortunately I lost my ear tips to frostbite but everyone tells me how beautiful I am all the same.
About Me: Hi, it’s me, Ocean. I love to flop over and show you my tummy. I am a very affectionate girl who likes to give kisses. I love your attention, and I love getting pets. I am happy to just hang out in the spot beside you while we watch shows together. I can be a bit shy at first but I warm up very quickly. Sometimes I can be restless as I am still getting used to be in a safe environment. I love food and people and am really enjoying this new lifestyle.
I hope you don’t mind, I can be quite talkative. I have lots to tell you about and make sure to remind you not to forget to feed me… but really, how could you? I love watching what’s going on outside and I would love a home with a window for me.
My ideal home will be patient with me while I adjust to life indoors. I’d likely do well with another relaxed cat, but would also do well on my own. I have not met any dogs or small kids yet, but with proper and slow introductions, I should do well. I am a gentle girl.
I have really enjoyed the rest and relaxation in my foster home and don’t completely understand toys yet but would love someone who will show me how to play. If you have time or a kitty friend for me to learn from, that would be great!
I am currently eating a grain-free kibble and get wet food daily. I do love my wet food and need a home that’s willing to continue this diet.
