Georgie Baker

Date of Birth: July 2021 (estimated)

Sex: Male

Energy levels: Low

Good with:

  • Cats: Yes, as long as we have the proper introductions
  • Dogs: Unknown, but likely with slow introductions I’d do well
  • Kids: No, I need a home without younger kids

Rescue Story:  I was found wandering around on an acreage in February. A lovely lady kept me fed and provided me with shelter too. This was enough to keep me warm and content until I was attacked by an animal. I was left with bite marks on my neck and a cyst under my eye that needed vet care. That’s when CCE stepped in to get me into foster care. I am all fixed up now & ready for my forever home!

About Me: Hi everyone, it’s me Georgie Baker. You may have heard I recently had a close call with a scary animal. I am sure glad to be here and to be all healed up but boy did I have a hard start!

I am a lower energy guy most of the time and I am looking for a home where I can put my feet up and just rest. After everything I have been through, I am just so glad to be safe and warm and have a cozy place to nap the day away. I do like to play with wand toys though. I can’t resist them and I hope to have one or two in my new home. That way, I can still get a bit of exercise in when I am not snoozing.

You will usually find me not far away from my human. I like to be where you are. I am not really a lap cat…I am kind of a big boy so most laps don’t have enough room for me…but I will be sitting right next to you when it’s time to watch our favourite shows.

Something special about me is how much I love to talk. I have quite a story to tell and I am not shy about telling it. You will never feel lonely with me around. I will chit chat away with you and make sure you know how much I love you.

You might have noticed I have sad eyes but what you should also note is that they are filled with love. I am pretty hard to resist with my soulful expression. I already mentioned that I am a big guy. All the more of me to love. My big stature is to hold my big heart.

I do have a really hard time with environment changes, so I will need a home that will be patient as I adjust as I was very briefly adopted but bit someone. CCE says I did not have enough time to decompress and I was just stressed out. Since I have been back with my foster mama I have been back to my sweet and cuddly ways!

Do I sound like the right boy for you? I do love my wet food & am getting it every day along with a small amount of kibble – I would love a home that would continue with this diet.

Vetting: I am neutered, dewormed, microchipped and fully vaccinated.

Adoption Fee: $200
